Marketing and websites

I think it would be very helpful for us all if we could have a subsection MARKETING FORUM to share info about best ways to get ourselves better places in the market place.
I have spent a lot of time and effort setting up my websites and quite frankly I am disappointed with them. Id like help so I can get better results.

Id like feed back on mine if you can find the time and Ill gladly do the same for yours.

I offer a services -not products and I think my best tip so far has been NOT to try and sell anything - but to capture email address and name and then build a relationship surely but steadily.

Have you got any other tips for me?
